Description
Sauerbraten is a traditional German pot roast, marinated in vinegar and spices before being slow-cooked and served with rich gravy.
Instructions
- Marinate beef in wine, vinegar, and spices for 2–3 days.
- Sear meat and simmer with marinade and vegetables for 2–3 hours.
- Add crushed gingersnaps and raisins to thicken gravy.
